Personality: Poppy will take a picture of anything that catches her eyes, she is Easily startled but curious to be sure- exploring things she doesn't recognise with a head tilted in curiosity. Poppy has a tendency to talk to herself in her head and and forget to talk to the person talking to her, only to blurt apologies and questions out nervously when she realises she has been staring silently at you for five minutes. She gets quite nervous talking to people she has never met and has far to many questions to ask when you first start talking thats for sure, but she does not mean to be nosey and is always a polite bird. Poppy is VERY fond of muffins and has a rather big sweet tooth.

History: Poppy grew up in the city with her mom who was a big time reporter, Always hitting the hard news right in the face! getting the facts! and leaving poppy alone at home for a long time while she did it, but Poppy didn't mind to much, though she could watch her mom on tv she doesn't like to cause her mom only talks about scary or sad stuff while shes on tv. Poppy got very good at entertaining herself and she got realy good at being a news reporter for her stuffed animals especially after her grandma got her a camera for her 9th birthday. Poppy always went to live at her grandmas house in the summer, her grandma lived in and owned a bakery in another city and poppy loved it! she got to be the one who asked the customers questions sometimes (though she always had to ask what they wanted to order) and write it down, and then she would report it back to her grandma. Poppy liked being in the baked news business, cause everyone was always happy to hear the news Poppy reported on. Every year Poppy got to stay a little longer at her grandmas house because her mom was busy in another town or at work and Poppy had to stay longer, it actually got to the point where poppy was staying 8 months out of the year so her Grandma said she should probably just switch schools and stay with her, her mom didn't object.

Grandmas city was smaller than the one her and her mom lived in but it was still a bustling city and when Poppy was 17 she became an intern at the citys news building. starting small with interview notes and coffee and muffin fetching, but after two years she finally got offered the chance to do a story! after digging deep, gathering the facts and doing her best on about...ten different stories and getting one in on the 24 page, and getting told she would never get anywhere close to front page material and working for the paper for five years without doing anything news worthy. she gave up. Poppy was done being the coffee fetcher and crummy reporter, but she didn't want to move back in with her grandma right away so she decided to try a smaller city....and then another small city...and another....and now poppy was realy done. On the train ride back to her grandmas city she ended up stopping in a little town called maple vill and lived there about a year, it was nice, but the town went a little under due to a... water shortage and not a giant tom nook robot no sir... so poppy is moving to a slightly bigger town.~ Hemlock. Which is sure to be lots of fun.

Other:- Poppy is very friendly but Poppy gets nervous if she has to be the first to talk and can take a long time trying to decide what to say first. (you are better off being the first to say hello)

-Poppy isn't realy very shy, just rather self conscious and nervous when talking to people....wait is that the same as being shy? naw...cause shes not scared of people as much as she is about making a bad first impression.  

-Poppy laughs at jokes easy but can get confused easily so it might take her awhile...just give her some time....she'll get it eventually.

- Poppy is a curious bird and often will follow/watch someone from a distance to see if they seem nice before trying to talk to them for the first time.

-Poppy can't fly when her wings are soaked so if she goes swimming she has to dry off a bit before she can fly again.

-Poppy likes hats, hats are awesome.
